The books one reads as a young child are special—they’re the first window into the worlds of literature and art. Even as adults, many of us can recall our favourites. Parents often read their precious childhood tales to their own children, and rediscover them all over again.
Today is International Children’s Book Day. We asked our staff for their favourites, and came up with the Scholars reading list. The list includes both classics and modern books. All the books we picked feature stories and artwork that is sure to delight and entertain even the toughest little literary critic.
Big Book of The Berenstain Bears
The True Story of the Three Little Pigs
