As schools plan to re-open this school year, many parents feel uncomfortable with sending their children back to the classroom. To provide relief for families, Scholars has prepared flexible school support programs to provide a safe educational alternative for students.
Our full- and half-day school support programs will provide your child with a classroom environment with less risk. Scholars has limited class sizes with a 6:1 student-to-tutor ratio to maintain a high level of safety while delivering results that matter.
What a school day can look like at Scholars.
When you enroll your child at Scholars, you get flexible scheduling options, including half-day mornings or afternoons, or full-day programs. Our programs will guide your child through their school curriculum with the support and direction of a Scholars teacher.
- Half-day morning programs will typically run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Half-day afternoon programs will typically run from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Once you have chosen a classroom schedule for your child, they will be assigned to their own class with a consistent cohort of students and teachers. This is just one of the many precautions Scholars is taking to ensure maximum safety.
A Typical Half-Day Schedule
| 8:50-9:00 | Student Drop-Off Students are dropped off at Scholars and perform sanitation procedures. |
| 9:00-10:15 | Support with Virtual School Curriculum – Session 1 Students will bring their personal devices and work on the virtual school curriculum provided by their school board, with their Scholars teachers offering support and direction. |
| 10:15-11:00 | Break & Activity Snack time! After finishing their snack, students will engage in a fun activity based on the age level and interests of the class. |
| 11:00-12:00 | Support with Virtual School Curriculum – Session 2 Students will continue to work on their virtual school curriculum with guidance and support from their Scholars teacher. |
| 12:00-12:10 | Student Pick-Up Students are picked up from Scholars. |
